Interview with Venue Owner, Tay

Halfway Through 2026: A Reflection with Amazing Graze Events Owner, Tay Brown

As we find ourselves halfway through 2026, it's hard not to pause and reflect on the beautiful moments that have already filled the year at Amazing Graze Events. From heartfelt vows and golden-hour portraits to joyful celebrations surrounded by family and friends, this season has been one for the books.

We recently sat down with owner Tay Brown to talk about what she's learned so far this year, what continues to inspire her, and what makes a wedding day truly unforgettable.

Three Words to Describe the First Half of 2026

When asked to sum up the year so far in just three words, Tay didn't hesitate:

Joyful. Intentional. Growing.

Those three words perfectly capture the spirit of the season. Every wedding brings its own story, and this year has been filled with couples intentionally creating meaningful experiences while allowing Amazing Graze to continue growing alongside them.

The Biggest Lesson of the Year

One thing Tay has noticed throughout 2026 is a shift in what couples value most on their wedding day.

"This year reminded us that couples are leaning even more into creating experiences over perfect details," she shared.

While beautiful décor and carefully planned aesthetics certainly have their place, the moments guests remember most often aren't the elaborate centerpieces or trendiest wedding elements. Instead, they're the personal vows, shared meals, sunset photos, and genuine moments spent with the people who matter most.

At the end of the day, it's the feeling of being fully present that leaves the biggest impression.

A Favorite Wedding Moment

With so many incredible celebrations already this year, choosing a favorite moment wasn't easy.

Still, one experience continues to stand out.

"Watching couples sneak away during golden hour," Tay said. "For a few quiet minutes, everything slows down and they get to take it all in together."

After months of planning and anticipation, those brief moments often become some of the most meaningful.

"There's something really special about seeing them realize, 'We did it. We're married.'"

The Question Every Couple Should Ask

When planning a wedding, most couples spend plenty of time thinking about how their day will look. But according to Tay, there's another question that's even more important.

"Many couples don't think to ask about the flow of the day and how it feels, not just how it looks."

Questions like:

  • When will we actually have time together?

  • How can we make sure we're present throughout the day?

  • What moments can we build in to slow down and enjoy everything?

These considerations often have a bigger impact on the overall experience than couples realize. A beautiful wedding is important, but a meaningful wedding is unforgettable.

How Tay Hopes Couples Feel at the End of the Night

As the final song plays and guests begin to head home, Tay hopes every couple leaves Amazing Graze with a particular feeling.

"I hope they leave feeling deeply loved, cared for, and at peace."

More than anything, she wants couples to know they were able to fully celebrate their day without carrying the stress of managing every detail.

After all, wedding days go by quickly. Couples deserve the opportunity to experience every moment.

Why Hosting Weddings Matters

For Tay, hosting weddings has always been about more than simply providing a beautiful venue.

"The most meaningful part is knowing we're getting to be part of one of the most important days in someone's story."

That perspective has shaped Amazing Graze from the beginning.

"Amazing Graze has always been about more than a venue. It's about creating a place where people gather, celebrate, and begin something beautiful."

It's a mission that continues to guide every wedding, event, and celebration hosted on the farm.

Looking Ahead to the Rest of 2026

With many weddings still to come this year, Tay says it's impossible to choose just one she's looking forward to.

What excites her most are the couples who embrace the natural beauty of the farm and make the day uniquely their own.

"I always look forward to the weddings where couples really embrace the beauty of the farm and make the day feel authentically them rather than simply following trends."

Those personal touches often become the details that guests remember long after the celebration ends.

As we look ahead to the second half of 2026, we're grateful for every couple who has trusted Amazing Graze to be part of their story. We can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings.

If you're planning a wedding and searching for a venue where meaningful moments matter most, we'd love to show you around and help bring your vision to life.
